Dreamcatcher-Making Workshop:
Creating a Unique Symbol of Hope and Peace for Your Home
Saturday, March 15: 10:00 am – 1:30 pm
Marty Harger’s home – Heber City, Utah
It’s time to connect with nature’s energy for our greatest good.
You are invited to join me and Susy Torreano, a highly talented Utah artist and my deeply creative friend, for a small-group dreamcatcher-making workshop and gathering. Dreamcatchers were historically created by women, originating with the Ojibwe (formerly Chippewa) and Lakota people and are designed to represent a spider’s web. The finished design can be hung in a bedroom or place where dreaming and thoughts occur to protect against evil or bad dreams that can be caught in the web. This allows good thoughts, hope and positive energy to flow through the holes between webbing and into the lives of those who sleep or sit near them. Making your own dreamcatcher allows you to create a symbol of hope and peace for your home.
Gathering as a group, we’ll use a variety of natural materials to create our own unique dreamcatcher with Susy’s guidance. We’ll start by learning more about dreamcatcher symbolism, enjoy a guided meditation and then begin creating! Afterward, enjoy a warm bowl of homemade soup together before taking your treasured design home.
I am so thrilled that Susy has agreed to lead this highly-memorable workshop I attended with her four years ago. I know you’ll love her and this special program limited to only 10 participants.
Please text me at 801-712-5406 right away to reserve your spot. The cost is $110 per person for this special gathering, including all materials for your dreamcatcher and lunch. Get ready for a wonderful day together and an opportunity to use your creativity, heart and hands to craft your own dreamcatcher.
