Our remarkable Wonders of Greece Exploration combined the very best of the land of mythology and democracy—surrounded by its stunning beaches and gorgeous island landscapes. My uniquely customized 10-day, 9-night exploration offered a deep immersion into Greek food, wine, herbs, Ouzo, and essential oils. I was so excited to finally experience Greek life first hand with an incredible group of travelers.
Our journey was guided by a local tour manager who led us through Athens and Nafplio on the mainland, and on to the islands of Santorini, and Crete. We stayed in fabulous properties and visited iconic sites such as the Acropolis, Temple of Poseidon, Fortress of Bourtzi, Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, and Knossos Palace.
The trip became even more meaningful as we met the locals! We had a chance to spend time with local craftspeople, growers, and families. We explored orange production, visited an Ouzo distillery and a historic winery, learned Greek dance, learned more about wild herbs, cooked with locals, and took part in olive oil tastings. Each evening, we toasted our adventures while watching spectacular sunsets over the Aegean Sea. It was so hard to say goodbye to a great group of travelers and a country that begged for more exploring. Until next time, Greece—Opa!
