Join yoga instructor and volunteer, Marty Harger for a free, 90-minute workshop geared to those 55+ who want to begin a yoga practice. This program was created for those new to yoga who want to understand the three aspects of yoga we incorporate into our weekly class — meditation, pranayama (breath work) and asana (movement.) Movements will be quite gentle with instruction provided – you will move to your level of comfort. Participants should dress in flexible clothing. Bring their own yoga mat and a yoga block (if you have one.) If you’ve been interested in our free, weekly yoga class but are feeling like you could use a few pointers before you join the larger group—this workshop is for you!
