DESCRIPTION:Join Yoga Instructor\, Marty Harger for a gentle\, outdoor yoga practice surrounded by the aromatic lavender fields of Blue Canyon Lavender Farm in Heber City\, Utah. Start your day with one of Utah’s most unique sensory experiences as you see the lavender fields in bloom with Mount Timpanogos as a background. Inhale the fragrant scent of lavender to calm and soothe you throughout our one-hour yoga practice. \nRight after our yoga practice\, enjoy a 20-to-30-minute tour of the Blue Canyon Lavender Farm led by its owners\, the Burrow family. Learn how through the years\, they have built a highly productive family farm featuring many strains of lavender used for aromatic\, topical and culinary uses. Make sure you have your phone because the photos taken here are amazing!! Afterward\, explore the Blue Canyon gift shop and the many fabulous products they’ve created featuring their lavender essential oil and other herbs. Each yoga class attendee will also receive a special gift made from Blue Canyon Farm’s lavender! \nNote: Yoga in the Lavender Fields takes place outdoors in the direct morning sunshine (sunscreen is a good idea). The farm flourishes because bees gently buzz around the lavender plants (those with allergies to bees should not attend). We will practice yoga on the ground – so bring a thick yoga mat\, or 2 mats to stack on top of one another.
